Answers to your questions

Q: What licence do I need to drive a jet ski. Is it a normal boating licence, or is their a different licence I need to obtain?

A: In NSW current requirement to obtaining a PWC (Jetski) licence is to possess a current NSW Boat Licence and then attend a PWC seminar and test comprising 15 questions relating to PWC only with a pass of 12 out 15 answered correctly.

On successful completion of the PWC course and test with the College you will be issued with a 'Satisfactory Course Completion Certificate' which, when presented to a NSW Maritime Service Centre you will then be issued with a PWC licence. This is combined with your General Boat Licence. The NSW Boating College offers a boat & PWC combined licence course.
