3. PWC LICENCE & NSW Maritime TEST
PWC's (personal watercraft/jetski's) have become a popular choice for on-the-water activities. That's why it's important to know how to drive them safely, competently and with courtesy to other boaties.
The PWC course is approximately one hour theory, including examination.
The exam comprises 15 questions, of which 12 must be answered correctly.
To obtain a General or Young Adult PWC licence you need to have first obtained your General or Young Adult Power Boat Licence.
Choose to sit both licences together on one day, or separately.
Cost $ 170 (two licences) $ 85 ( PWC Licence Only) - conditions apply
Book early 'Online or by Telephone' and we'll send you the 'Boating and/or PWC Handbook' to study and understand before you attend the training.
You will also receive:
- a receipt and confirmation of your booking.
- a 'Course Completion Certificate' together with an 'Application' for a boat/PWC licence if you are successful, which when presented personally will be exchanged for a boat licence at NSW Maritime/RTA offices on payment of the licence fee - an eyesight test maybe required.
We do issue a 'Statement of Attainment' for this unit of competency on request for a fee of $15.00.

This College is required to provide a high standard of training in order to achieve accreditation with NSW Maritime and NSW VETAB. Other training to obtain a boat licence is available but does not meet the standards set by NMSC which are illustrated by competencies and training package units that this RTO offers:
