It's a great way to become more confident, knowledgeable and safe on the water. Learn to enjoy the "boating lifestyle" on your boat, at your dock, on your waterway.
You have made a significant investment in buying your own boat and at the NSW Boating College we feel the best way to maximise your enjoyment is to have a thorough knowledge of your boat.This way, you will be completely familiar with its handling characteristics, giving you complete confidence in the boat and your driving abilities.
This service can also help you get used to a new boat or a bigger boat and is an excellent follow up to the

We can help you in any number of ways. Check out the following:
- Boat set up, mainentance & engineering
- Assistance on your first few outings
- More marina/docking practice
- Training in the use of electronics
- Night time boating and navigation
- Launching & retrieving
You can bring along a friend and/or family member max 4 people, too many people reduces individual training.
The service is charged at a competitive hourly rate and for a minimum of 3 hours training during the week or on weekends call and talk to us about your specific needs.
The Owner of the boat: must be present on board during the training,
- be a NSW Maritime general licenced 'Skipper' and,
- have current fully comprehensive insurance for the vessel and,
- have attended NSW Boating College boat licence course,
- agree to sign an indemnity.
It is illegal to train people for a fee on a recreational vessel who are not licenced.
